In an exciting night of Sault Ste Marie Girls High School volleyball action on Wednesday, January 15th, both Junior and Senior teams showcased their skills in tightly contested matches.

Junior Division
St. Mary’s Knights junior team put on a commanding performance against White Pines Wolverines, sweeping the match in straight sets. The team displayed exceptional teamwork and focus, winning 25-15 in the first set and maintaining their momentum to claim the second set 25-19. The victory solidifies St. Mary’s as a force to be reckoned with in the junior division.

Senior Division
St. Mary’s Knights Senior team mirrored their junior counterparts’ success with a 2-0 victory over White Pines. The first set was a nail-biter, with St. Mary’s narrowly edging out White Pines 25-23. The second set saw St. Mary’s take control, finishing the match with a 25-19 win.

Meanwhile, in another thrilling senior division match, Korah Colts defeated Notre-Dame-du-Sault Voyageurs in straight sets. Both sets were tightly contested, with Korah emerging victorious 25-23 in the first and closing out the second set 25-18. Korah’s balanced attack and resilience under pressure proved too much for the Voyageurs to handle.
