Jay Houslander
CEO/Editor/Producer
TruHous Media, parent company of Saultsports.com is owned and operated by Jay Houslander, a former amateur, junior, and collegiate hockey and lacrosse coach, the Sports Talk host, and video professional. With more than a decade of experience, Houslander pulled from each of those experiences to form a hybrid company that helps amateur, high school, small businesses, non-profits, colleges, universities, and others reach their target audience through harnessing the power of new media.

 

Kerilyn Trudel – Houslander
CFO
Trudel – Houslander is responsible for TruHous Meadi’s past and present financial situation, Kerilyn’s an integral part of a company’s financial future. As our CFO the mother of two young men, the Sault Ste Marie, Ontario native has multiple duties, from financial reportage to deciding where, when to invest company funds as well as all invoicing and ordering for TruHous Media.

 

Shaw Houslander
Social Media Director
Shaw oversees TruHous Media’s social media strategy. He helps increase our brand presence online by identifying our audience and increasing engagement across multiple social media channels. Houslander creates and implements social media campaigns, measures performance and improves results. Shaw also acts as social media community manager by answering questions, reading comments and staying in touch with the audience.

 

Bob Davies
Photographer
Bob is an advanced photographer and owner of Freeze Frame Photos, Bob aims to provide as much help with promoting local amateur, high school, and collegiate athletics through his amazing sports images.  Former Sault Ste Marie Police Chief Davies found his passion for sports photography 20 years ago by photographing his children through their high school and amateur sports.

Bob joined Saultsports.com as a photographer in May 2017. Bob has been in the photography over two decades and his experience along with his passion for local sports in our community is a big asset for Saultsports.

Most recently, Bob was a photographer with the Soo Thunderbirds in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. He also spent time snapping photos for OCAA Sault College Cougars, OUA Algoma Thunderbirds and the Ontario Hockey League’s Soo Greyhounds also including youth and high school sports.
