Steelhawk coach Jared Klooster told Saultsports that “I liked our effort today. Proud of our boys. Thought the score wasn’t indicative of how close the game was. Difference was we had a few turnovers at very inopportune times that put us behind. Smc capitalized on our mistakes so good on them. We’ll keep workinG hard at practice and we’ll get better every week ..can’t wait to see them again. We’re very excited to be back at it. These kids have missed this outlet – socializing with teammates, making new friends. I’m glad we’ve been given this opportunity.”
The (1-0) Steelhawks face the (0-1) Wolverines in a 6:00 p.m start on Thursday, September 16th while the Knights take on the Colts on Friday, September 17th for a 4:45 p.m kickoff at Superior Heights.
