Coach Henderson told Saultsports that “I think you’re always excited for the beginning of any season but with what happened last year this is a new level to begin this journey together. These young men have had tremendous summers commiting both on and off the ice and they are deserving of this opportunity. With league play beginning late October we’ll have lots of time to prepare and get up to speed with our pace and the physicality at this level. We are excited to get going this week!”
