Why is summer football so important to you?
Summer football is important to me because it allows me to stay up to speed with football year round and make new connections that I otherwise wouldn’t have made just playing in the fall.

What are your personal and team-oriented goals for the upcoming 2026 OSFL season?
My personal goal is to be firing on all cylinders come the CJFL fall season with Sault college while also making my teammates around me better. As a team we’re all looking to make a deep playoff run and win it all.

What are you most looking forward to playing this season for the Sabercats?
This is the last season I’m eligible to play in the OSFL so I’m looking to enjoy every minute of it. I’m also excited to absorb all of our experienced coaches’ knowledge and learn as much as I can.

For anyone that is not familiar with your play style, how would you describe yourself as a player?
Tough, gritty, hard hitting and high football iq. Able to play every single position on the football field.

Who is your biggest football role model? Could be a coach, teammate?
Coach Matt Gauthier because he made me into the football player I am today, made me a true linebacker.

How do you stay motivated and focused during a game or practice?
Remembering our common goal of improving each day, taking every practice and game one step at a time.

What do you think makes a great leader on the football field?
Leading by example, not afraid to set the tone when it needs to be set.

What is your greatest accomplishment as a football player?
Winning Defensive Player of the Year in my final high school season.

What makes you the best candidate for this position that the coaches have asked you to play?
The coaches have asked me to play middle linebacker, I think I’m the best candidate because of my lack of fear, willingness to hit and leadership making sure everybody is in line.

What do you think is the most important aspect of being a member of a team?
Respecting your teammates and being on the same page at all times.

Finally, what do you think is the most important quality for a football player to possess compared to other sports?
Mental toughness. You obviously need to be mentally tough to play every sport but football is different. Being hit every single play and wanting more every single time is a different level of crazy, I don’t think any other sport compares.
