Most Challenging Thing About Racing at Laird Raceway?
Honestly, the most challenging part of Laird Raceway for me isn’t even the racing—it’s playing full-time logistics manager before we ever hit the track. We’re trying to get 3 Enduros, a Factory Four, and a Factory Stock out of the shop and to the track by 5:00 p.m on a work day. So by the time we actually get there, I feel like I’ve already won a championship in trailer Tetris. If everything shows up in one piece and on time, that’s already a victory before the green flag even drops.

Advice to Give Someone Who Might Be Interested in Racing at Laird Raceway?
If you’re thinking about racing at Laird, stop overthinking it and just go for it. Honestly, my biggest regret is not starting sooner—I really feel like this is what I was meant to be doing. The good news is you don’t need a massive budget to get into it. Four cylinder and Enduro classes can be surprisingly affordable if you talk to the right people and spend your money in the right places (and avoid the stuff that just looks fast in the pits).
And seriously—don’t be afraid to reach out. I’m always willing to help point someone in the right direction. With the right advice and a bit of hustle, there’s a good chance you could be out there racing this season instead of just watching from the stands.

Most Memorable Race at Laird Raceway?
My most memorable race at Laird was on opening night last year—and honestly, I don’t know if I’ll ever top it. What made it even more special was it was our first time hitting the track with cars we built ourselves… and we truly had no idea what we had.

We rolled in just hoping everything would hold together, and by the time the Factory Four hit the track, I was starting dead last in both heat races and the feature. Somehow, the car just came alive. Lap after lap it got better, and I drove through the field to win all three. It went from “let’s see if this thing survives” to “we might actually have something here” real quick.

Then it didn’t slow down. Right after the feature, I’m climbing out, still catching my breath, and jumping straight into the Enduro—again starting dead last. Same story… just working forward, picking cars off, and by the end I finished second, right behind my teammate/best friend.

So in one night, we went from complete unknowns with fresh builds to winning everything in sight and finishing 1–2 with our own equipment. That’s the kind of night you chase forever.

Team Members
Diamond Dayne Lorenzo is our main guy—the kind of mechanic you trust with everything without even thinking twice. He puts in an unreal amount of time and effort alongside me, and a big part of any success we’ve had has his fingerprints all over it.

Martin Valiquette is not only a key sponsor, but he’s right there in the pits every week getting his hands dirty. Bonus advantage—he can fit into places in these cars the rest of us just look at and shake our heads.

Lucas Fabbricino is the newest addition to the team, and honestly, the kid is a weapon with tools. Still in high school and already outworking most adults, and no matter how ugly the job is, he’s always the first one to say “let’s get it done.”

John Diemert is the go-to when things need a little creativity. If we can dream it up, he’ll figure out how to build it—and half the time he just takes over and does it right so we don’t mess it up.

John Pinder is the backbone of it all. He’s at the track every week supporting us in more ways than I can even list. None of this happens without him, plain and simple.

How Did You Get Into Racing at Laird Raceway?
Dylan “the Grinch” Connolly had been bugging me to run an enduro back in 2024, and I kept brushing it off. until my girlfriend Cheryl gave me that final push—without realizing what she was about to start. I finally went for it, and honestly, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Racing has completely changed my life in the best way, and now there’s no turning back.

Your goal for racing at Laird Raceway in 2026?
My goal for 2026 is simple—we’re taking over the Enduro division. I want a car out of our shop in victory lane every single night, and honestly, I don’t see a reason why that shouldn’t happen. We’ve put the work in, we’ve built the cars, and now it’s time to show everyone exactly what we’re capable of.

In the Factory Four, I’m not just aiming to win the championship—I want to dominate it. I plan on spending a lot of time holding those checkered flags this season. I plan on setting the tone early that we’re the team to beat.

With the Factory Stock, the goal is a little different. That division is full of talented drivers, and I’ve got a lot to learn. I want to come in, earn their respect the right way, and prove that I can compete at that level.
