After eight Sault Ste Marie High School Hockey League seasons, the White Pines Wolverines took to the ice for the first time since 2016 with a matchup against the Superior Heights Steelhawks in high school action at the Northern Community Centre on Friday, November 1st.

Good team effort. Competitive first game with a decent defensive effort. Definitely showed us some things to work on going forward, added Steelhawk coach Jamie Greco.
