Soo U10 Greyhounds Finish Silver Stick Undefeated to Win Gold in Newmarket

The Soo U10 Greyhounds hit the road for their final games of the 2021 – 2022 hockey season with taking part in the 2022 International Silver Stick in Newmarket, Ontario over the March 12 – 15 weekend. The Greyhounds were joined by the Newmarket Renegades, Aurora Tigers, Gloucester Rangers Green, Humber Valley Sharks, North Bay Trappers, North Toronto, and the Scarborough Ice Raiders in the U10 division.

After finishing their 2021 – 2022 season with a 2022 International Silver Stick gold medal in Newmarket, Greyhound coach Craig Kennedy told Saultsports that “the kids represented themselves with a great deal of pride and worked extremely hard all weekend. They showed resiliency after experiencing a disappointing loss the weekend before. The group learned a valuable lesson on how to deal with adversity which hopefully they can carry with them into the future.”
