NOBLE AND ENGEL DOMINATE AS THE KNIGHTS AND COLTS KEEP ROLLING IN SR. GIRLS BASKETBALL

SR. GIRLS 

SUPERIOR HEIGHTS VS ST. MARY’S

Ashlyn Noble continued her dominating play scoring a league-high 20 points as the Knights defeated the Steelhawks at home 47-28.  The St. Mary’s defense was the difference once again as they forced numerous turnovers and turned them into points to pull away early in the second quarter.  Caitlin Senecal added 8 points for the winners while Ella Zachary added 7.

For the Steelhawks, Sadie Grawbarger had a strong game and led her team with 13 points. Mya Ferguson ( 7 ) and Taya Shackleton ( 3 ) rounded out the scoring for Superior Heights.

WHITE PINES VS. KORAH

At Korah Collegiate, Ava Engel dominated inside once again as the Colts defeated the Wolverines 41-21.  Alexis Olar and Viviana Merlino had 5 points each for the winners.

Kaydence Lovelace led all Wolverines scorers with 8 points.

JR. GIRLS

SUPERIOR HEIGHTS VS ST. MARY’S

Abbi Jaremko was a force on both sides of the floor and led all scores with 18 points as the Knights defeated the Steelhawks 44-13.  Sienna Magli and Kyla Viotto had 8 and 7 points respectively for the winners.

Jade Line led all Steelhawks scorers with 3 points.  Pryia Rasaiah and Cecilia Meade scored 2 points each.

WHITE PINES VS. KORAH

In the other Jr. matchup across town, Katie Macfarlane scored 9 points, and Lyla Jarrett chipped in with 8 points at the Colts defeated the Wolverines 33-23.

The Wolverines were led by Journey Day and Olivia Hiscock who each dropped 9 points in what was their best game of the season.
