Steelhawk coach Paul Orazietti told Saultsports that “Full marks to Korah for efforts this evening. They are a much better football team at this point in the season. Despite being outplayed most of the night I was very proud of the way our kids played hard until the final whistle. I’m hopeful that an experience like tonight will be a huge learning experience for our players.”

Colt coach Tom Annett said that “It was a great Team effort against a talented and well coached opponent. I think we made a statement with our physicality on both offense and defense. We are fortunate to have a large roster this year. Getting up a few scores early on allowed us to get plenty of reps for non-starters. Developing depth will pay off later in the season.”

Nicoletta told Saultsports that “we prepared great, came out and executed our plays well. A lot to work on still but we played well. After being away for so long the feeling is second to none. There’s nothing in the world I would rather be doing than being on the field.”
