Sault Ste Marie high school sports is staying put on Saultsports TV for three more years with the streaming agreement with the Huron Superior Catholic District School Board, Algoma District School Board, and Saultsports TV (TruHous Media).
Live sports streaming and original content innovator, Saultsports TV, expands further into high school sports with the announcement of an exclusive multi-year Northern Ontario distribution partnership with the Huron Superior Catholic District School Board (HSCDSB) and Algoma District School Board (ADSB). With this extended partnership, fans will have access to over 65+ games from high school sports in Sault Ste Marie each high school sports seasons, along with original content, interviews and analysis produced by Saultsports TV.
These groups announced a multimedia rights extension which will feature audio and digital exposure for high school sports in Sault Ste Marie, beginning in the fall of 2023 high school football season and extending through the 2026 high school hockey season.
During the term of the three-year extension, a minimum of 65+ high school football, basketball, and hockey games will be featured on Saultsports TV in addition to live and on-demand online radio station, TruHous Sports Radio. By the end of the deal, Saultsports TV will have streamed over 200+ high school sporting events at the end of the 2026 high school academic year.
Saultsports TV continues to bolster its platform and recently announced a multi-year partnership with Algoma University that will see every regular and postseason soccer and basketball streamed live and on-demand on OUA TV. The agreement covers all regular season home games and the 2024 OUA Wrestling Championships.
