After a scoreless first period on Saturday, November 20, Trine found the back of the net first before Parker Morgan tied the game with 6.5 seconds left in the second period. The Cougars held onto that momentum with Ty Zachary, Mitchell Devins-Cann, Caleb Wood and Dylan Fontaine scoring a goal each in the 5-2 victory.
Goaltender Hunter Dawson earned the win with 36 saves.
On Sunday November 21, the Cougars capitalized early, with goals from Chuck Webb and Dylan Fontaine to lead 2-1 after the first period. Buzzi would add two and Wood one in the 5-3 win.
Goaltender Zach Tarantini recorded 40 saves for the win.
Both teams received multiple power-play opportunities, with 40 minutes awarded to Trine and 34 minutes to Sault College in the two games.
