On Thursday, December 11th, the White Pines Wolverines travelled across town to take on the Korah Colts in Sault Ste. Marie high school girls’ volleyball action, featuring both junior and senior matchups. The Colts defended home court successfully in both divisions, earning straight-set victories.
In the junior match, Korah edged out White Pines in two tightly contested sets, winning 25–23 and 25–23 in a showdown that saw long rallies and strong defensive play from both sides. The senior matchup followed, with the Colts maintaining control from start to finish, defeating the Wolverines 25–12 and 25–22.
Looking ahead, Korah prepares to host the St. Mary’s Knights on Tuesday, December 16th at Korah Collegiate. Meanwhile, White Pines returns home to face the Superior Heights Steelhawks at White Pines. Junior games start at 4:30 p.m. with seniors to follow at 5:30 p.m., promising another exciting night of local volleyball action.
