Caleb Cavendish has been selected as the next head coach of the men’s and women’s golf programs at Lake Superior State (LSSU), as announced by LSSU Athletic Director Tory Lindley on Friday, September 20th.
Cavendish, a native of Lakeview, Michigan is a graduate of Northwood University where he was a member of the golf program, and he has been working in the golf industry since his graduation in 2021, including currently being a PGA Associate.
Cavendish has previously served as the Assistant Golf Pro at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Mich., the Head Golf Professional at Riverwood Resort in Mount Pleasant, Mich., and he is currently the Director of Golf at the Sault Ste. Marie Country Club. He has also coached at the high school level and has been providing both private and group lessons for the previous four years.
