On Wednesday, October 16th in week 5 of Sault Ste Marie boys high school volleyball, both the first place Korah Colts and the third place Voyageurs celebrated hard-fought victories, continuing their 2024 high school seasons. The Colts dominated the court with precise serving and a cohesive team effort, with their setters and hitters perfectly in sync. Their aggressive net play and defensive consistency overwhelmed their opponents, securing a three sets to one win against the White Pines Wolverines at Korah Collegiate. Meanwhile, the Voyageurs also impressed with their balanced attack and tenacity, showing resilience in long rallies. Their strategic adjustments mid-game and excellent communication led to a decisive three sets to zero victory over the St Mary’s Knights at St Mary’s College. Both the Colts and Voyageurs are now riding high on momentum as they prepare for week six of the 2024 season.
