Sault Ignite Volleyball Club is proud to celebrate our U18 Inferno team earning a silver medal, placing second in Division 4, Tier 2 at the Ontario Championships held in Toronto.

The Ontario Championships were held at the Enercare Centre in Toronto from April 23–25, 2026, featuring 112 teams in the U18G age group across four divisions. Division 4 included 32 competing teams from across Ontario.

Inferno athletes delivered a strong performance throughout the tournament, demonstrating consistency, resilience, and teamwork on their way to a second-place finish.

“We’re just really proud of this team,” said Dave Arbuckle, U18 Inferno Head Coach. “Not just for how they played, but for how they showed up for each other in big moments all season. The teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship they brought was incredible. You couldn’t ask for a better way to wrap up their U18 season and their career with the Sault Ignite Volleyball Club.”

The result marks a strong finish to the team’s U18 season and reflects the athletes’ development, family and community support.
