With two wins in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario over the Timmins Majors on November 13th and 14th, the Soo U18 Greyhounds took to the road for a weekend swing in New Liskeard, Kapuskasing, and Timmins for AAA Great North Midget League hockey action over the November 19th to 21st weekend.

Greyhound coach Jamie Henderson told Saultsports that “overall it was a solid weekend it was the first time this group has faced a trip like this being on the bus so much and up at 6:00 a.m today. It would have been nice to get the win last night we had control of the game and let it slip away but the boys rebounded today down 2-0 early they fought back and deserved the final result. We’re still trying to find that consistency with our structure and level of compete against bigger and older teams so we’ll continue to work on that this week.”

The U18 Greyhounds will now return home for a weekend back to back series against the visiting New Liskeard Cubs on November 27th and 28th with game times of 6:30 p.m and 11:00 a.m respectively.
