In Brampton, Ontario, the Soo 11U Black Sox took part in the second weekend of August Madness on August 21 – 22 with meeting the Brampton Royals and Creemore Braves. The 11U Black Sox were coming off weekend one of the August Madness in Sudbury on August 14 and 15 with a record of 2-2.

“The team played well in the extreme heat. It was a good weekend overall playing good competition, which will help us as we continue to prepare for Provincial Finals in two weeks time. The players know what to expect and we will take the next two weeks and continue to work hard preparing, said coach Keith Coletti.

The Soo 11U Black Sox will be back on the road in two weeks when they represent Sault Ste Marie at the 2021 Ontario Baseball Association Provincial Championships in Sudbury, Ontario over the September 3-6 Labour Day weekend.
