Following 10-1 and 3-0 wins in Sudbury over the August 14 and 15 weekend over the Sudbury Impact, the Soo U14 City United returned to the field for a 11:00 a.m start at Tom Tipton on Sunday, August 22 when they hosted the Sudbury Impact.

Coach Joe Valente told Saultsports that “the girls moved the ball well today our passing/decision making is improving each game and that’s what we work a lot on. Our intensity level has been good but needs to get better in order to prepare us for our Milton tournament but again it’s been a tough 18 months for these girls staying engaged. Sophie Lamour played another great game in net.”

The U14 Soo City United are back on the road for the next two weekends with stops in Sudbury on August 29 against the Impact followed by September 3 and 4 action in Milton, Ontario.
