Soo U18 City United Improve to 3-2-3 with Win and Tie in CSL Action on the Road

Looking for their third win of the 2021 soccer season in the Central Soccer League in the GTA, the Soo U18 City United Girls hit the road for back-to-back games on August 21 and 22 against the Oshawa Kicks and Cherry Beach soccer programs. The U18 Soo City United headed into Saturday matchup on a four game unbeaten streak.

Game One (August 21)
Oshawa Kicks (2) vs (4) Soo U18 City United
Goals – Isabella Fata (x2), Martina Pucci, Ava Provenzano
Goaltender – Hannah Hiltz

Game Two (August 22)
Cherry Beach (3) vs (3) Soo U18 City United
Goals – Isabella Fata, Cassandra Burzese, Alexa Romano
Goaltender – Hannah Hiltz

Coach Anthony Romano told Saultsports.com that “we as a coaching staff are very happy with the way the girls competed, and feel we are getting better every week. We look forward to the challenges ahead of us heading into the final seven games of the 2021 regular season.”

The Soo U18 United take their 3-2-3 record into the final weekend of August 2021 with matchups against Cherry Beach and SC Toronto over the August 28 and 29 weekend. Game times will be 1:00 p.m on Saturday and 10:00 a.m on Sunday morning.
