At Superior Heights in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario on Friday, February 24th, the 2023 “AAA’ Girls Volleyball Northern Ontario Secondary School Athletic Championships took place with the St Mary’s Knights, Korah Colts, Lo-Ellen Knights and Marymount Regals participating in the junior division while the St. Mary’s Knights, Superior Heights Steelhawks, Lockerby Vikings, and Confederation Chargers hit the court vying for their spot in the 2023 Senior “AAA’ Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations Championships in Barrie, Ontario from March 6th to 8th.

Junior Division
In the junior division after round robin play, the Lo-Ellen Park Knights went undefeated and faced off against the 2-1 St. Mary’s Knights. in the 2023 ‘AAA’ NOSSA Championships, the St. Mary’s Knights defeated the Lo-Ellen Park Knights in two straight sets; 27-25 and 25-23.

Senior Division
In the senior after round robin action, the Chargers went undefeated and faced off against the Vikings in the championship game. The Knights and the Steelhawks ended up third and fourth respectively. In the final game, the Confederation Chargers defeated the Lockerby Vikings in three straight sets; 25-17, 25-16, 25-14.
