The Soo City United U14 took to the field in Sudbury on August 29th to take on the Sudbury Impact in girls soccer action. The Soo City United U14 are coming off a 7 – 1 win over the Impact in Sault Ste Marie on Sunday, August 22.

“The girls overcame a slow start and got stronger as the game went on. It was an excellent game in preparation for September 4th and 5th tournament in Milton. The team was supplemented by Marisol Carota, Sienna Magli, Lila Jarret who were called up from the U13 team and had an excellent showing. Sudbury kept the game close for the first half with and displayed great work ethic. Our girls were able to match the work ethic which led to a successful day. Sophie Lamour was able to keep a clean sheet on the day,” added coach Joe Valente.

The Soo U14 City United will be joined by the Vaughan SSC, East York United FC, Alliance FC Mustangs, and the host, Milton Youth SC on September 4th and 5th in the 2021 EDP Canada Qualifier in Milton.
