We have been around since 2011 and are disappointed when people say that there isn’t enough local sports coverage in Sault Ste Marie and Algoma. We are not a multi million dollar sports outlet, but here at Saultsports.com we have seen numerous social media posts bashing the media for not offering coverage of local sports. Saultsports attends numerous sporting events each week with two to three possible events in one day. We are also willing to cover things we cover events we cannot get to if someone send an email with the information needed. We are a small company and cannot get to every event going on. We are the voice for sports in the north. Please support and help us get to the next level in sports coverage in the north.

Saultsports mission is to provide multimedia sports coverage that celebrates the successes of teams and athletes in and from Sault Ste Marie and Algoma.

Our platform is to build a sense of community around sports in the Algoma region with an emphasis on our shared humanity, and to give back to the community through student internship opportunities, charitable donations, and partnerships with local non-profit organizations.
