OVERTIME NEEDED AS THE KNIGHTS BEAT THE COLTS TO REMAIN UNBEATEN

SR. GIRLS 

ST. MARY’S VS KORAH

Payton Magli scored 6 of her game-high 14 points in overtime as the Knights remained unbeaten with a 53-46 win over Korah.  Ella Zachary ( 11 ) , Ashlyn Noble ( 10 ), and Kiera Kent ( 8 ) rounded out the scoring for the winners.

Knights coach Dave Zagordo thought both teams brought their A-game last night.

“The girls battled on both the offensive and defensive end.  Good tempo and high-intensity game.  These girls get fired up to play each other and it’s fun to watch”

The Colts were led by Lucy Lafrance’s 13 points.  Ava Engel ( 9 ), Delaney Elliot ( 9 ) and Mia Loumaranta ( 9 ) also had strong games for Korah.

SUPERIOR HEIGHTS VS WHITE PINES

At White Pines, Emmalie Allard had 13 points to power the Steelhawks to a 56-23 win over the Wolverines.   Steelhawk teammates Mya Ferguson and Sadie Grawbarger played well and scored 11 and 9 points respectively.

For White Pines, Emma Leigh played a strong game on both sides of the floor and scored 8 points.  Chloe Cormier chipped in with 6.

 

 

JR. GIRLS

ST. MARY’S VS KORAH

In the other Jr. matchup, Abi Jaremko continued her strong play for the Knights scoring 16 pts in a 37-17 win over the Colts. Kyla Viotto ( 12 ) and Sienna Magli ( 5 ) both had strong games for the winners.

Katie Macfarlane and Kara DeRosario had 6 and 5 points respectively in a losing effort.

 

SUPERIOR HEIGHTS VS WHITE PINES

Priya Rasaiah scored 14 points and had 4 steals to power the Steelhawks to a 35-23 win over the Wolverines.  ( No other scorers were provided )

Journey Day had a great game for the Wolverines scoring 7 points and creating 7 steals in defeat. ( No other scorers were provided )
