Mossi-Singhy Bayang Coming to Algoma OUA Thunderbird Program for 2021/22

Just weeks before the guys come into Sault Ste Marie to start preparing for the 2021 – 2022 OUA men’s basketball season, 6’6″ Montreal, Quebec native Mossi-Singhy Bayang joins the Algoma OUA Thunderbirds.

Mossi-Singhy Bayang will be enrolled in the Business program at Algoma University for the fall of 2021.

Algoma guard Mossi-Singhy Bayang told Saultsports.com that “I decided to come to Algoma because I heard a lot of good things about coach Étienne and the projects as well as his ambition for the Algoma program. I like it a lot and besides it is a good university. It’s a dream for me to go to university along with playing basketball. I have to thank god for this opportunity and come, so it wasn’t a hard decision to say yes.”

Coach Jacquet that Saultsports that “we are happy to announce the addition of Mossi-Singhy Bayang to the Algoma Thunderbirds men’s basketball program. Mossi, graduated from the Keba Prep program and is looking forward to play university basketball.”

“I am a 6’6″ guard that is athletic as well as a strong guard that can play solid along with playing defense. I can drive the key and take control of a rebound. I think that I can pass the ball well and contribute to scoring. I’m mature on the court, so I can definitely help the program of Algoma for this upcoming season,” said Mossi-Singhy Bayang.
