On Tuesday, December 10th, week two of the 2024-2025 Sault Ste. Marie High School Girls Volleyball season featured some exciting matchups. At White Pines, the St. Mary’s Knights faced off against the Wolverines in both junior and senior action.
In the junior match, the Knights cruised to a dominant 2-0 victory, winning both sets 25-13 and 25-7. The senior Knights continued their strong performance, defeating the Wolverines in two sets as well, with scores of 25-18 and 25-13. Meanwhile, at Korah Collegiate, the École Notre-Dame-du-Sault Voyageurs took on the Colts in their junior and senior matches. In the senior match, the Colts were victorious, winning 25-15 and 25-18 in two sets.
Looking ahead, the action will continue on Thursday, December 12th, as the Voyageurs will host the Wolverines at École Notre-Dame-du-Sault, and the Superior Heights Steelhawks will face the St. Mary’s Knights at St. Mary’s.
Both matchups promise to bring competitive volleyball action, with junior games starting at 4:00 p.m. and senior games following at 5:00 p.m. These games will close out week two of the girls volleyball season, as teams continue to battle for position early in the campaign.
