The Elite 8 Basketball Academy is excited to announce its upcoming programming!
The Elite 8 Basketball Academy is celebrating an amazing first year. They trained over 250 separate athletes during 6 different programs. The Academy has many qualified, passionate, and dedicated coaches and mentors excited to get the new programming started! All sessions take place at Sault College in a Fun, Safe, and Inclusive environment.
The following programs will be available starting Sept 17th at Sault College!
JR. NBA!!
The very popular JR. NBA PROGRAM, designed by Basketball Canada will be offered again this year starting September 17th. Year one of this program was a huge success with over 110 participants!! This year, the program will be offered for those in grades 1-6. Register now as it will fill up fast!
CLUB TEAM PROGRAM!
Elite 8 is also launching their traveling CLUB TEAM PROGRAM that will consist of 5 separate teams. U14 Boys/Girls and U12 Boys/Girls will start with tryouts beginning September 17th. U16 Girls will begin in November once their High School Season is complete. Teams will travel throughout Ontario and Michigan to compete in exhibition games and tournaments. Elite 8 will also look to host a tournament at the beautiful Health & Wellness Centre Gym at Sault College.
HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SHOOTING AND FINISHING SCHOOL!
The High School Girls Shooting and Finishing school will also start on September 17th. There were 20+ girls who participated last year and this year will be bigger and better than last. Players will be put through game-like drills to assist them with the two most important skills when it comes to scoring.
JR. BOYS HIGH SCHOOL PREP PROGRAM!
A new Jr. Boys High School Prep Program ( Grades 9 & 10 ) will also begin September 17th. Players will be introduced to Offensive and Defensive skills and concepts to help prepare them for their upcoming season.
