Over the May 14th and 15th weekend, the U15 EJ Ballers took to the highway to head to East Lansing, Michigan to compete in their first ever basketball tournament representing the EJ Baller Basketball program from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario in the Super 64 Classic division.

The U15 EJ Ballers were one of 100+ basketball programs taking part in the 2022 event with 18 teams in U16 division that included EJ Ballers.

Coach Jacquet told Saultsports that “I went in to the tournament without any expectation except having fun and playing hard. As a team we were able to get placed in the gold bracket. Finishing top eight in the tournament. Unfortunately the story ended with us losing in the quarter-finals. I am proud of the coaching staff including Ryan and Rocco proud of the players, as well their parents that came down to encourage the EJ Ballers program.”
