Another big week at Laird Raceway for week two of the 2022 short track racing season with 40+ cars taking to the 1/3 oval for Thursday Night Thunder in front of 2000+ fans enjoying the fast and largest oval short track racing in the north.

In the Modified division, Rod Bolduc held off Dustin Jackson and Jay Palumbo to take home the checkered flag in the modified feature on July 21st. In entertaining door to door racing in the Super Late Model division Dustin Jackson edged out Ron Raynor for the Super Late division feature with Jake Irwin placing third in Laird Raceway. Coming down to the final two left turns in the Factory Stock division, Dan Bibeau held of Brimley, Michigan’s Chris Toms to race across the finish line to capture the Factory Stock feature win. Jarritt Varcoe would take third in the Factory Stock division at Thursday Night Thunder. In the 4 Cylinder division, the first place and second place finishers were a pair of teenagers with 18 year old Anthony Mannarino taking the checkered followed by 17 year old Shanna Harten. Devon Terrance earned the third palce finish to round out the 4 cylinder division. Rookie driver Dale Tucker earned his first ever feature win in the Enduro division followed by Tyler Praysner.
