The Sault Ringette Club, in partnership with Ringette Ontario, is excited to remind media of the upcoming 2025 Ringette Ontario A
Provincial Championships, taking place March 13–16, 2025, in Sault Ste. Marie.
This premier event will bring together 42 elite teams from across Ontario, competing in divisions ranging from U14 to 18+. It promises to deliver high-caliber ringette action and an electrifying atmosphere as teams compete for Provincial Championship titles. The top U14A and U19A teams will represent Team Ontario at the Eastern Canadian Ringette Championships from April 17-20 in Pierrefonds, Quebec.
The tournament will not only showcase some of the province’s top athletes but also bring a significant economic and cultural boost to Sault Ste. Marie, with an estimated impact of $1.5 million. Hotels, restaurants, and local attractions are preparing for an influx of visitors, making this a major event for the community.

Fan Night on Thursday, March 13 at 6:40 p.m at the Northern Community Centre, a highly anticipated event that will showcase the passion and excitement of ringette fans in Sault Ste. Marie. The Sault Ice Hawks will face off against the Etobicoke Stingers, with fans expected to fill the stands and create an electric atmosphere.
- The first 50 fans will receive free noisemakers to enhance the energy in the arena.
- Spectators are encouraged to wear red, white, and black to support the home team.
- A special 7th Skater presentation will take place before the game, highlighting a local athlete in our FUN division.
- Fans will bring their own noisemakers, loud voices, and team spirit to cheer on the teams.
This event provides an excellent opportunity for capturing vibrant fan engagement, community spirit, and high-intensity ringette action.
