White Pines is in the last two week push on one of our major fundraising initiatives that not only supports our students but also offers an incredible opportunity for sports fans in our community.
Until March 21, 2025, we will be hosting a raffle for tickets to the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Semi-Final and Final games—a thrilling event for any basketball enthusiast. This annual initiative is part of our efforts to enhance educational and extracurricular opportunities for all students in Grades 7 through 12 at White Pines. Each raffle ticket is priced at $20, buyers must be 18 years of age to purchase and redeem, and all proceeds will directly benefit our student body. I have attached our poster for reference.
Prize Package is worth $18,900 USD and includes:
- Round trip airfare from Sault Ste. Marie to San Antonio for 2 people
- Four nights double occupancy accommodations at a premium hotel (April 4-8, 2025)
- Welcome Kit for San Antonio
- NCAA Fan Fest Tickets
- Upper-Level ticket to NCAA Semi Finals
- Upper-Level ticket to National Championship Game
- Pre-game tailgate party on Saturday and Monday inclusive of complimentary food, interactive games, etc.

Draw Date: Friday, March 21, 2025 at 2:15 PM in the White Pines C. & V. S. Gymnasium.
Any questions you may have about our upcoming draw on March 21, 2025 at White Pines. We also welcome any media to come to the school to view the raffle draw at 2:15 p.m on Friday, March 21st. We will have a full assembly in the gym, with students coming down around 1:45 PM and call the winner on the spot to let them know.
