After a 2 – 1 weekend on their northern Ontario road trip over the November 19th – 21st weekend, the first place Soo U18 Greyhounds took to the ice on November 26th and 27th to host the seventh place visiting New Liskeard Cubs in Great North Midget League action.

Greyhound coach Jamie Henderson told Saultsports that “we had a solid week of practice we know there is another level we need to find individually and as a team and they are highly motivated to keep working towards that.”
“We put the line of Zimbaro, Aboflan and Moore together to lead our group on and off the ice and they have certainly done so. As 2005 players we need them to be our best and to keep pushing our younger players, added coach Henderson.
The U18 Greyhounds will now have three games this upcoming week with the Sudbury 16 Nickel Capitals in town on Wednesday, December 1st for a 7:00 p.m puck drop and the Sudbury U18 Nickel Capitals over the December 4th and 5th weekend with game times of 1:00 p.m and 11:00 a.m respectively. All three games will take place at the John Rhodes Centre.
