On Wednesday, November 20th, in a thrilling midweek GNU18HL clash at the John Rhodes Centre in Sault Ste. Marie, the third-place (7-3-2) Soo U18 Greyhounds went head-to-head with the fifth-place (6-4-0-1) Soo U16 Greyhounds. The game was an intense rivalry, with both teams exchanging goals throughout the contest and eager to make their mark in the standings. As the game went into overtime, it was the Soo U16 Greyhound Jacob Vincent who emerged as the hero, scoring the game-winning goal with just 1:18 remaining to give his team a dramatic 6-5 victory. Vincent’s clutch performance in the extra frame secured a thrilling win for the U16 Greyhounds, as they stunned their older counterparts and added a crucial victory to their season.
