Steelers Head Home with a Win Over the Phantom in NFC Action

Coming off a bye week on Saturday, July 10th and nail biter on July 2nd at home to the GTA All Stars in a 11 – 2 loss, the (1-2-1) Sault Steelers took to the road for a Saturday, July 16th contest against the (1-4) Phantom Raiders at Esther Shiner Civic Stadium in North York, Ontario in Northern Conference football action.

The Steelers head back home after a 29 – 3 win in North York over the Raiders to improve their 2022 record to 2-2-1 for a third place standing in the NFC west division.

The Steelers will now host the first place west division (5-0) Sudbury Spartans on Saturday, July 23rd at Rocky DiPietro Field in a 7:00 p.m start. The Steelers will be celebrating the 50th season on July 23rd during the matchup against the Spartans.
