Over the Friday, January 20th and Saturday, January 21st weekend in Sault Ste Marie, the Soo U18AA Greyhounds hosted the Copper Cliff U18 AA Reds at the John Rhodes Centre in Nickel District Minor Hockey League.

Soo U18AA Greyhounds coach Mark Evans told Saultsports that “this weekend was a big four points for our team creeping that much further away in the point standings. Very proud of this young men for all their dedication and hard work making this season successful so far!”

“Now we are back to work this week with practices and work outs getting ready for the triple header in Sturgeon Falls and Powassan” added Evans.

The Soo U18AA Greyhounds will hit the road for a three game road trip with two games in Sturgeon Falls and one game in Powassan. The Greyhounds first games will be at 10:00 a.m and 3:00 p.m on Saturday, January 28th against the West Nipissing U18 Sting followed by Sunday, January 29th at 1:00 p.m against the Powassan Hawks.
