Soo U18 City United Earn Back to Back Wins to Open 2024 WSRL Season on the Road

Over the May 25th and 26th weekend was an electrifying whirlwind of victories for the Soo U18 City United on the soccer field in Orangeville, Ontario. With two exhilarating wins under their belts to open the 2024 Western Region Soccer League season. With the wins to open the 2024 season, the U18 Soo City United team’s spirit soared higher than ever before. From the first whistle to the final moments, the girls exhibited unparalleled unity and determination, showcasing their skill and passion for the beautiful game along with camaraderie among teammates fueling our drive to succeed. As the final whistle blew on Sunday, signaling their second triumph showed a weekend of unwavering commitment and relentless pursuit of victory for the Soo U18 City United.

Soo City United coach Steve Mazzuca told Saultsports that “the girls put on an exceptional performance. The girls persevered through two ninety minute games in two days after seven hours of travel.”

Next up for the Soo U18 City United will be on the road when they meet the Woodstock FC on July 6th and 7th with game times of 6:00 p.m (Saturday) and 11:00 a.m (Sunday).
