Position: Defence
Team (2025/2026): Soo U15 AAA Greyhounds

What are the biggest areas of your game you’re focusing on improving this offseason?
I am focusing on my skating abilities and my mental side of the game as I think these are the most important parts of hockey.

How do you plan to balance on-ice training, off-ice conditioning, and recovery over the summer?
This summer I will have days where I am doing on ice and off ice on the same day, then having a recovery day right after that will be important.

Are there any specific skills (skating, shooting, strength, hockey IQ) you’ve set goals for, and how will you measure progress?
I have set goals for getting a longer and more powerful stride and also getting lower in my skating stance.

What lessons are you taking from this past season that will shape how you train and prepare for next year?
Losing in the finals was a terrible feeling so I will take those feelings and bring them into every game and every off ice session to motivate me to get better knowing that I don’t want that to happen again.

What motivates you most heading into the offseason, and what are your expectations for yourself when you return?
One thing that motivates me is how far we got in last year’s season and I think that the whole team should want to do that again now that we know what we are capable of.
