Coach Dom Deluca told Saultsports that “I was ecstatic with the result in the weekend. I thought our effort was fantastic. We truly believe in ourselves and the style of game we wanna play. He had excellent structure and I loved the puck movement and puck support too! We were setting the pace and tone in our games this weekend. We beat some top end teams and our two defeats were tight games. We got excellent goaltending throughout as well. We were relentless in our puck pursuit and how we battle for every loose puck, and I was so impressed with our penalty kills.”

“This is a great group of kids, and they are a pleasure to coach. All the new concepts and how we are asking them to play has steadily improved and that’s a credit to their willingness to learn and flourish as a team and individuals. We are enjoying this group of players. They are a wonderful bunch of kids, added Deluca.

Next for the Soo U15 Greyhounds will be on December 18th and 19th when they take to the road for league action in Powassan, Ontario against the North Bay U15 Trappers with game times of 4:00 p.m (Saturday) and 11:00 a.m (Sunday).
