Soo Greyhound Forward Rory Kerins Inks Entry Level Contract with NHL Calgary Flames

On Tuesday, March 1st, Soo Greyhound forward Rory Kerins inked a three year entry level contract with the National Hockey League’s Calgary Flames.

The 20 year old Caledon, Ontario native was drafted 174th overall in the sixth round by the Flames in the 2020 NHL Draft. As of March 1st, Kerins currently sits second in Ontario Hockey League scoring with 84 points, third in goals with 33 and has found the back of his opponent’s nets for eleven powerplay markers tied for fifth in the OHL. The 6’0” forward also is second in the OHL with eight game winning goals as of March 1st.
