Soo Black Sox U18 stole the lead late in the game in a 10-3 victory over EUP Woodducks on Tuesday.., June 13th. The game was tied at three with Soo Black Sox U18 batting in the top of the seventh when Michael Starzomski singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Soo Black Sox U18 fired up the offense in the second inning, when Soo Black Sox U18 scored one run on a stolen base.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, EUP Woodducks tied things up at three. Suggit drew a walk, scoring one run.

Gavin Lamming took the win for Soo Black Sox U18. The bulldog went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out three and walking zero. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Cole Masse, Michael Hapanovich, Matthew Forsey, and Lucas Carriere all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

Lumsden was on the hill for EUP Woodducks. undefined allowed one hit and one run over three innings, striking out two. Chambers and Wilson entered the game from the bullpen, throwing five innings and one inning respectively.

Connor Bruzas led Soo Black Sox U18 with four hits in five at bats. Soo Black Sox U18 didn’t commit a single error in the field. Starzomski had the most chances in the field with seven.

Lumsden went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead EUP Woodducks in hits.
