On July 25th, the Soo 13U Black Sox took to the highway for their first road trip in 2021 with a two game road swing against the Valley East Junior Voyageurs.  The Black Sox are coming off a 10-10 tie and 11-3 loss to the visiting Sudbury Shamrocks in Sault Ste Marie on July 17th.

Black Sox coach Seth Cond told Saultsports that “it was nice to go down to Valley East and take two from a well-coached and disciplined team. We had great pitching and opportune bats in both games. Our group still needs to absorb each learning experience in situations they may not have encountered before and continue to add to their baseball arsenal of knowledge. We are back now for a two week home stand and hope to continue to learn in this young and shortened season.”
