At Superior Heights in Sault Ste Marie High School Boys basketball junior and senior action, the Superior Heights Steelhawks hosted the White Pines Wolverines on Wednesday, November 30th.

White Pines senior coach Joey Brock told Saultsports that “First games can be tough; we have a lot to work on. We had some first game jitters and a lot of boys first game playing at the senior level.”

“The boys know what to expect going forward and we must build on that. The boys from Superior played a great game and deserved that win, added Brock.

Next up in boys high school basketball action will be when the White Pines Wolverines host the Korah Colts on Monday, December 5th followed the Steelhawks taking on the Colts at Superior Heights on Wednesday, December 7th. Junior tipoff will be at 5:30 p.m followed by the senior start at 7:00 p.m.
