A number of Sault Surge athletes and Alumni will see action around the continent over the February 17th to 18th weekend in numerous championship level meets.

Four members of the age group squad will be attending the 2024 Ontario Winter Festival Championships to be held at the Etobicoke Olympium on Saturday, February 17th and Sunday, February 18th.

Sophia Li, 12, Angela Thomson, 10, Emma Vallee, 11, and Julianna Kaminski, 12, will compete with the best 12/unders across the province of Ontario.

Li, and Vallee are currently entered into the meet with top ten seed times and all will look to improve upon their strong individual performances from the recent Sault Surge hosted Dave Kensit Memorial NEOR Championships. The Sault Surge will be looking to showcase some depth as the club is entered in all four11-12 age group relays.

Action gets underway Saturday with sessions scheduled for 9:30 a.m and 3:00 p.m.

Sault Surge Alumni will also be competing with their respective university varsity programs as conference championship meets get under way this weekend.

Logan Belanger(Georgia Southern University) and Pauge Banton (Marshall University) are competing at the Sun Belt Conference Championships in Orlando, Florida. Railli Kary (University of Toronto) and Elisa Dumanksi (Queen’s University) will be in action at the Ontario University Swimming Championships hosted by Brock University.
