JP DelPaggio told Saultsports that “It was nice to finally get the monkey off my back after coming up short on Thursday at laird, was pretty discouraged after not being able to get it done when we had the fastest car on the track all night. Just ran out of laps in a cautionless feature and got held up by some slower traffic. Kinross was a great way to get the ball rolling and the cars were pretty evenly matched.. gained the lead with about 5 to go but got sent back to 2nd after a caution right after I took the lead. Had to regain momentum and never stopped fighting until I got back to the outside to pass for the lead yet again… it’s been the story for us this year of not letting up until the checkered waves. We won’t stop fighting, I’m too stubborn. My crew never gave up on me through the rocky start we’ve had and it’s nice to finally get the boys a win that we deserve, these guys fight for me in the shop and I fight for them on the track. Our work finally paid off and we will keep our heads down and our mouths shut from here on out and take no prisoners.”

Kinross Raceway next event will be on August 3rd with a full show including Modifieds, Sportsman, ABC Stock Cars, and 4 Cylinders with the green flag dropping at 5:00 p.m.
