Sault Ste Marie’s Connor Toms Traded to Windsor for 12th Round Selection

Soo Greyhounds General Manager Kyle Raftis announced Monday, October 30th that the team has completed a trade with the Windsor Spitfires.

In the deal the Greyhounds receive a 12th Round Pick in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection (Windsor’s) in exchange of defenseman Connor Toms.

Toms, a native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario was originally selected by the Greyhounds in the third Round of the 2020 OHL Priority Selection.

Over the course of his career (2021-22 to present) he has appeared in 112 career regular season games played recording 6 goals and 22 assists, for 28 points.

He had 8 post-season appearances.

We thank Connor for his contributions to the Soo Greyhounds and his hometown while wishing him all the best in Windsor.

The latest transaction reduces the Greyhounds to seven active defencemen on the roster.
