Sault Ste Marie’s Brad Jourdin Inducted into the NFC Hall of Fame

On Saturday, June 10th during the halftime of the Sault Steelers versus Sudbury Spartan contest in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, the Sault Steelers had the pleasure to add the newest member to the Northern Football Conference Hall of Fame with wide receiver Brad Jourdin.

Jourdin was a star receiver for the Steelrs during their Northern Football Conference inaugural season in 1972. Jourdin was the first player for the Steelersto score a touchdown in team history in 1972. After helping win a national championship against the London Lords that season, Jourdin would continue to star as an offensive weapn throughout the remainder of the the 1970’s. Jourdin would continue briefly to play for the Steelers in the late 1990’s, joining his son Ryan on the field.

Beyond Jourdin’s contributions to the Steelers organization, Brad has served our community for many years as a field official wearing the zebra stripes.
