The Sault U16 Sabercats will return to action on Saturday, July 12th at Superior Heights Field in Sault Ste. Marie, as they host the Clarington Knights in Ontario Summer Football League (OSFL) U16 ‘AA’ quarter-final action. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., with live coverage available on Saultsports TV.

This postseason clash marks a rematch of their week two regular season meeting, where the Sabercats traveled to Clarington and secured a hard-fought 16–8 victory. That early-season win could provide momentum as the Sabercats aim to advance deeper into the playoffs.

The Sabercats concluded the regular season with a narrow 23–16 loss at home to the Sudbury Spartans on July 5th, while the Knights dropped a 34–28 decision to the York Lions. The Sabercats ended the regular season in fifth place with a 124–109 points-for-and-against ratio over seven games. The Knights, meanwhile, finished in eighth place, scoring 84 points while allowing 135.
