Registration for the NHSC 2021-22 Indoor Soccer Season is now open. If you are planning to register, we are asking that you do so sooner rather than later and do not wait until the September 20th deadline. With the short turn around time this year, it is very important that we get a feel for our numbers as soon as possible so that we can finalize playing days and times for each division.
NHSC and NCC have in place COVID-19 protocols aimed at keeping parents, coaches and players safe. Please see below for details regarding the upcoming season.
*** Please note that the above playing days and times are tentative. We will do our best to maintain these days and times but this may change depending on enrollment. If your child is no longer able to play because the playing day or time has been changed, we will provide you with a full refund.
Grassroots Program
Our Grassroots Program for U6 (2016/2017) and U8 (2014/15) aged players is on Friday nights. Sessions are one hour long, with the first half hour focusing on skill development. In doing so, players will participate in fun activities that will focus on 4 main areas of the child’s development; social/emotional, physical, physiological and also technical. During the second half of each session, players will participate in a small sided game played on half the field.
Registration Fees & Payment Methods
As a gesture of goodwill due to last year’s COVID shortened season, we have reduced our rates for U10-U18 from $295 to $275 and U6-U8 from $210 to $200 for the 2020/21 season. Full payment is required at the time of registration. Payment can be made by Visa, Visa Debit or Mastercard.

Refunds
Upon written request, reimbursement for registration (less $10 administration fee) shall be granted up to and including the 14th of October for U10-U18 and the 1st of November for U6 & U8. Upon written request, reimbursement for registration (50% of fees paid) shall be granted for U10-U18, after the 14th of October and the 1st of November for U6 & U8, prior to the participant’s first regular season game. Refunds shall not be granted by NHSC after the participant’s first regular season game.
Subsidy Program
If you plan to apply for the Jumpstart subsidy program, please indicate so and provide the appropriate information during the online registration process. If you are eligible for any other subsidy programs, please inform us by email before you register so that we can make the appropriate arrangements.

Draft Games & Beginning of Regular Season
Draft games for U10-U18 will be held from Monday, Oct. 18th through Thursday, Oct. 21st. Each player will only participate in one draft game. The regular season for U10-U18 will begin the week of Oct. 25th. There are no draft games for U6 and U8 and therefore their season will begin on Nov. 5th.
Equipment Requirements
Players in all divisions MUST wear shin pads. Indoor soccer cleats are NOT required. Most players wear outdoor cleats or running shoes. We will provide all players with full kit that includes a jersey, shorts and socks.
Where We Play
All games are played at the Northern Community Centre (NCC) Indoor Soccer Complex located at 556 Goulais Avenue next to the McMeeken Centre and Korah Collegiate high school.
