High School Sports Are Back in Sault Ste Marie with Dave Zagordo

After a Thursday, August 19th scheduled meeting with the Algoma Public Health unit, the Sault Ste Marie Boys Athletic Association, Huron Superior Catholic District School Board and the Algoma District School Board fall high school sports will move forward with fall sports offerings, which begin on Monday, August 30 for student athletes and coaches to start to practice to prepare for their upcoming 2021-2022 seasons.

Jay Houslander of Saultsports.com sat down with Sault Ste Marie Boys Athletic Association director Dave Zagordo to talk the return of high school sports. The return comes after a high school sport hiatus since March 2020.

Houslander and Zagordo discussed how high school sports will return and what the return of sports will look like with new precautions in place for student athletes, coaches, and fans for the 2021-2022 high school sports seasons.
