The Soo Black Sox baseball programs will be hosting their 2023 tryouts in April 2023 for players who are interested in representing Sault Ste Marie in the black and orange during the summer of 2023.

9U Black Sox
For all players born in 2014 and 2015 interested in playing for the Black Sox.

Players must be registered with SMBA through sooball.com prior to participation. (See 2023 Registration page for details).

Tryout Dates
Sunday, April 2 (5:00 – 6:00pm NCC 1)
Thursday, April 6 (7:00 – 8:00pm NCC 2)

Tryout fee $30.00.

11U Black Sox
The 11U Black Sox are holding tryouts for all players born in 2010 and 2011 interested in playing for the Black Sox.

Players must be registered with SMBA through sooball.com prior to participation. (See 2023 Registration page for details). All players must attend a minimum of two scheduled tryouts. Bring cleats or turf shoes, bat, and batting helmet. Please do not bring baseballs.

Tuesday, March 28 (7:00 – 8:00pm NCC 2)
Friday, March 30 (7:00 – 8:00pm NCC 2)
Tuesday, April 4 (8:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m NCC 2)

Tryout fee $40.00.
